There’s a Golf for everyone, and here at Patrick Volkswagen, we have them all. Each Volkswagen Golf has something to make it special and the perfect hatchback for you.
This may be the standard Golf, but it isn’t light on features or performance. The 1.8 liter turbocharged four-cylinder produces 170 horsepower while the XDS Cross Differential System comes standard. This Golf comes in a two-door or a four-door version, as well as with your choice of manual or automatic transmission. Folding the rear seats down gives you nearly 53 cubic feet of cargo space to play with, so you can pack for a gig, help a friend move, or let the dogs run around the back.
Moving more than just your groceries? The new Sportwagen allows for more cargo space while still delivering the fun and exciting driving experience that a normal golf does. Available in a four door option with a variety of options from navigation to heated seats, the Sportwagen can be as basic or loaded as you need it to be.
E-GolfThe E-Golf has all of the great style and versatility of the original, but it’s pure electric. You can go up to 83 miles with zero tailpipe emissions (and zero tailpipe, in fact). The electric motor produces 115 horsepower and a remarkable 199 pound feet of torque that responds instantly to your right foot. The best part: the E-Golf has the exact same 52.7 cubic feet of cargo space as the normal Golf, despite the batteries.
Golf GTI HatchbackThe original hot hatchback, and we think still the best. The GTI features the classic plaid cloth seats (leather seats available) and comes with either two or four doors. The GTI has a 210 horsepower 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine, and the optional performance packaged ups the power to 220 horsepower, upgrades the already very good brakes, and included the VAQ differential for better traction and cornering. If you’re looking for better performance and less weight, the GTI is available without all the bells and whistles. If you’re looking for the ultimate driving experience for you and your passengers, don’t hesitate to add Navigation, and sunroof and heated seats for your enjoyment.
The Volkswagen Golf R redefines the hot hatchback. The 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder produces 292 horsepower and 280 pound feet of torque. All of that power is put to the pavement through VW’s 4Motion all-wheel drive system and delivers a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds. Dynamic Chassis Control is an optional upgrade that improves handling even further by adjusting the whole feel of the car for different driving conditions. Want to relax with a smooth ride on a road trip? No problem. Want to hunker down and attack a canyon road? That’s also no problem. Touchscreen navigation, Fender Audio system, and an optional Direct Shift Transmission round out the features on this remarkable evolution of the Golf.
